HaF – Hra a Fantazie (Play and Imagination) is a legendary family center located in the heart of Prague, just a few steps from the National Theatre. Founded in September 1990 as the very first family center in the Czech Republic, it has since opened its doors to children, parents, and adults of all ages. It is a space where people from three to one hundred years old can meet, create, play, and develop their imagination.
The program is divided into several thematic areas – HaF Visual Arts, HaF Music, HaF Acting, and HaF Playful for Preschoolers. Courses and workshops are designed not only for children from 3 years old but also for school-aged kids, teenagers, parents, and seniors. Entire families can participate together – from visual arts workshops and music lessons to acting programs and theatrical workshops.
The atmosphere of the center is very friendly, personal, and creative. HaF operates as a non-profit project with a long-standing tradition and a family-oriented approach, where everyone feels welcome. Instructors guide both children and adults with respect and aim to develop their imagination and joy of creating.
