Rules of the competition

RULES OF THE CONSUMER COMPETITION (Competition Statute)

This document defines the rules and conditions of the KidsMap consumer competition. These rules are the only legally binding document regulating the conditions of the competition in relation to participants within the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter the “statute”). Extracts or simplified versions of these rules published in promotional materials serve informational purposes only and have no legal force.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The purpose of these rules is to establish the legal relationship conditions between participants and the organiser of the competition. By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to these rules and all conditions stated in the competition announcement, and undertakes to comply with them.

COMPETITION PERIOD AND LOCATION

  1. The duration of the competition is specified in the competition announcement. The start of the competition is marked by the moment information is published on the website https://cz.kidsmap.com/ or on KidsMap social media, unless stated otherwise. The end of the competition is mentioned in the announcement on the website or in the social media post. The competition takes place within the territory of the Czech Republic.
  2. The organiser’s main social networks include Facebook and Instagram.

PARTICIPANTS OF THE COMPETITION

  1. Any person with permanent residence in the Czech Republic who is over 18 years old and meets the conditions of this statute may participate in the competition (hereinafter the “participant”).
  2. Employees or persons who are in an employment or other contractual relationship with the organiser or the competition administrator are excluded from participation. If such a person wins, the prize will not be awarded.

COMPETITION CONDITIONS

  1. Each participant who meets the participation requirements stated in Article 3 enters the competition by fulfilling all conditions listed in the announcement during the competition period.
  2. At the moment of the draw, the participant must be subscribed to the newsletter via https://cz.kidsmap.com/.
  3. Participants may register using their valid email address.
  4. If no person participates or no participant meets the participation conditions, the prize will not be awarded.

COMPETITION PRIZE

  1. Specific prizes are listed in the competition announcement on the organiser’s website or social media.

DRAWING AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES

  1. The organiser will conduct the draw of the winner who meets the participation conditions on the date specified in the competition announcement.
  2. Draw procedure: the organiser exports the list of participants into an Excel file, and a random number generator selects the winner.
  3. After the draw, the winning number and the email address of the winner will be published.
  4. The winner will be contacted via the email used when subscribing to the newsletter. The prize will be sent exclusively to an address within the Czech Republic.
  5. If the winner refuses to accept the prize or does not meet the conditions, the right to the prize is forfeited.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

  1. The competition organiser is the controller of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
  2. Personal data of participants is processed to the extent stated in the announcement and in accordance with applicable legislation.
  3. The participant has the right to withdraw consent to data processing for marketing purposes at any time.
  4. Providing personal data is necessary for participation in the competition.
  5. Personal data may be made available to third parties, such as service providers.
  6. If the prize cannot be delivered due to incorrect data, the winner loses the right to the prize.
  7. The prize will be delivered no later than 30 days from the winner’s selection.
  8. The winner is not entitled to monetary compensation or any other substitute.

  1. The competition organiser is the controller of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

ALTERNATIVE CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If the participant is not satisfied with the resolution of their complaint, they may contact the organiser at info@kidsmap.com.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The competition results are final and cannot be appealed.
  2. The organiser reserves the right to change the prize or conditions of its delivery.
  3. The organiser also reserves the right to exclude a participant from the competition in case of non-compliance with the conditions.

  5. The organiser is not responsible for the fulfilment of prizes by third parties.
  6. By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to the conditions of these rules.
  7. The organiser reserves the right to change the rules or cancel the competition.
  8. In case of uncertainties, the organiser reserves the right to explain or change the rules.
