Swing Busters

Swing Busters is a dance school in Prague specializing in swing dances, bringing joy of movement to children and adults since 2011. Their philosophy is simple – dance should be fun, free, and a space for self-expression. Swing Busters emphasizes an individual approach to each student and a friendly atmosphere, making even complete beginners feel comfortable and relaxed.

A major part of their offering is children’s dance classes, which develop rhythm, coordination, and musical awareness in a playful way. Kids learn the basics of swing dances such as Lindy Hop and solo jazz, while building movement skills, creativity, and self-confidence. Children’s classes are divided by age to best meet the needs of each group:

• Swingaroos (3–5 years + parents): Young children explore movement and rhythm together with their parents.
• Lindy Hopíci (5–7 years): Children develop basic dance skills through playful exercises.
• Jazz Cats (8–12 years): Older children focus on technique, rhythm, and independent expression.

Classes are led by experienced instructors who adapt lessons to the needs of each age group. Emphasis is placed on a safe and supportive environment where children not only dance, but also make new friends and learn teamwork. Swing as a dance style offers a unique combination of music, rhythm, and movement that supports children’s overall development.
