Are you looking for a place where you can meet parents in a similar stage of life, share your experiences, and receive support in a safe and welcoming environment? Parent Support Groups in Prague 8 offer regular gatherings for pregnant women, new parents, and parents with multiple children.
The meetings are organized by doulas and lactation consultants Lenka Pavlíková and Johana Hošták, who create a supportive space for open discussions about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, babywearing, introducing solid foods, and everyday parenting. Parents can share experiences, gain practical advice and support, or simply connect with others going through a similar phase of life.
The support groups take place every month in the beautiful community space of the Velký mlýn library club in Prague 8. Children are always welcome, and the atmosphere is relaxed, respectful, and family friendly.
The groups operate on a voluntary donation basis. Coffee and cakes are available for purchase on-site, and there is also a changing table, books available for borrowing, and a children’s playground located right next door.
