A Family Event Where Safety, Understanding and Acceptance Come First

Looking for an event where your child does not have to cope with overwhelming noise, crowds and constant stimulation? Open Hearts Day with StropOFFka is a unique family afternoon designed for families with children, including those with neurodevelopmental differences, offering a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for everyone.

The event is organized by the non-profit organization StropOFFka under the auspices of the Prague-Kunratice Municipal District. StropOFFka has long been supporting children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental language disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences.

Unlike many traditional children’s events, which can be crowded, noisy and overwhelming, Open Hearts Day is designed to ensure that every child and family feels comfortable. Visitors are free to participate at their own pace, take breaks whenever needed or simply observe without any pressure to engage.

The programme will be adapted to the needs of children with different developmental profiles and will include respectful communication, a quiet zone for relaxation and volunteers and professionals who understand that every child experiences the world differently.

An important part of the event is also raising awareness among the wider public. The goal is not only to provide a pleasant day for families but also to help others better understand the diverse needs of children and the importance of an inclusive and respectful environment.

Open Hearts Day is a place where families do not need to explain themselves, hide their challenges or worry about being judged. It is a place where children and parents are welcomed exactly as they are.
