One of the oldest arthouse cinemas in the Czech Republic, Kino Aero opened in 1933 and still retains the unique atmosphere of its original functionalist building in the Žižkov district.
It features a single screening room with approximately 336 seats (following renovations). The program focuses on independent cinema, classics, documentaries, themed festivals, and live opera broadcasts.
The foyer includes a bar, film poster exhibitions, and a friendly staff. The cinema supports both 35mm film projection and digital formats, meeting the expectations of even the most discerning film enthusiasts.
