Atelier Kroužek is an art school in Prague’s Žižkov district offering creative courses for children from 2 to 15 years old. Classes run as semester‑long courses or one‑time workshops, and you can sign up for a trial lesson at any time during the year.
The studio offers a wide range of art activities tailored to each child’s age and pace. Children aged 2-4 experience their first artistic exploration, learning to work with colours, shapes and simple materials. Kids aged 4-7 enjoy playful classes focused on drawing, painting, modelling and developing imagination. Children 7+ can look forward to more structured lessons in drawing, painting, graphic techniques, modelling and even outdoor sketching.
Everyone works at their own level. The studio doesn’t divide children into beginners and advanced groups, because each child has their own rhythm and style. Kids create their own original artworks, not identical pieces based on a single template. Supporting creative thinking and confidence is a key part of the studio’s philosophy.
Kroužek is known for its small groups, individual guidance and friendly atmosphere. The large, spacious studio gives young artists the chance to create both indoors and outdoors, and even in gallery settings.
