EduGems offers interactive courses for curious children who want to understand how things work. Their programs also include one-time workshops on soldering a glowing owl for elementary school children.
In the workshop, children solder their own glowing owl, which they can take home. The course includes an introduction to the components and safety rules, a playful presentation of basic electronics and soldering, all under the supervision of an instructor. Other children work with an electronic kit, completing simple tasks, and the workshop ends with a short quiz with the chance to earn a reward.
The courses take place at FEL ČVUT and are taught by students and graduates of FEL. Registration on the EduGems website is required to participate.
