Looking for a place where children can create, explore, play, and let their imagination run free without complicated planning? Modřánek, located in Prague’s Modřany district, offers a creative space full of workshops, play, and community activities for children and adults alike.
At Písková 25, regular open creative workshops for children take place with a very simple concept: just come and create. No reservation is needed, and each session includes several activity stations designed to entertain children approximately between the ages of 2 and 13.
But Modřánek is much more than just arts and crafts. The space also hosts creative play sessions for toddlers from 1 year old, sensory play activities, workshops for adults, community events, and social gatherings. The venue can also be rented or adapted for tailor made events, including corporate activities, celebrations, or bachelorette parties.
Starting in autumn, Modřánek will also introduce a brand new playroom – a miniature town full of imagination. Children will be able to explore different roles and immerse themselves in creative pretend play. They can become a postman, shopkeeper, visit a little store, a restaurant, and discover other wooden play houses designed to inspire imaginative play.
The playroom encourages creativity, independence, and collaborative play in a cozy and safe environment. Older children will also find plenty to enjoy, including a large climbing house/castle with hidden tunnels and secret passages. And for children who prefer a quieter activity, there will always be building blocks, drawing, and other creative corners available.
