In one of the largest museum buildings in the Czech Republic, spread across seven floors, you’ll find 16 permanent exhibitions and several temporary displays presenting the museum’s rich collections from various fields of technical and industrial history and the present day.
A visit to the museum is suitable for all ages. Older school-age children will find plenty to explore, while even the youngest visitors are welcome – for example, in the Merkur Playroom, children can build with the legendary Merkur construction set, play with wooden toys, or watch popular Czech bedtime cartoons.
The museum also features a cozy café where you can relax after your tour. The National Technical Museum offers not only a fascinating look into the history of technology but also a fun and inspiring experience for the whole family.
