Looking for an original cultural experience for the whole family? Festival ARENA 2026, organised by the Forman Brothers Theatre, transforms Prague’s Štvanice Island into a unique world of theatre, contemporary circus, music, imagination and adventure throughout June.
Visitors can enjoy outstanding performances from Czech and international artists, breathtaking acrobatics, poetic theatre, interactive experiences and a family-friendly accompanying programme. This year, the festival will newly take place in special theatre tents on Štvanice Island, while the legendary Tajemství boat remains at its traditional location on Prague’s riverfront.

PTAČÍ SNĚM | Forman Brothers Theatre
A spectacular family performance filled with imagination, masks, puppets, live acting, dance and immersive visual projections. The story follows a flock of birds searching for a new king and discovering their own path along the way. A powerful visual experience for children and adults alike.
VENT D’OUEST | Les P’tits Bras
An energetic acrobatic adventure inspired by the Wild West. Cowboys, live music, humour, western atmosphere and aerial acrobatics high above the ground create a thrilling show for children, school-age audiences and adults.
LE GRAND THÉÂTRE MÉCANIQUE | Compagnie de l’Echelle
The smallest theatre you will ever see. This unique mechanical performance hides an entire miniature world inside a single box. Each show is limited to just ten spectators, creating an intimate and unforgettable experience full of tiny details and surprises. Family bonus: your ticket also includes free admission to the Imaginarium exhibition immediately after the performance.
The festival takes place mostly under covered tents and offers a programme suitable for children aged 6+, older kids, teenagers and adults. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments, accompanying activities and a welcoming atmosphere for spending quality family time together. Early ticket booking is recommended, as some performances have limited capacity.
