See, discover, play, touch and let yourself be amazed. That is exactly what IMAGINARIUM by the Forman Brothers Theatre offers – a unique interactive exhibition inviting children and adults into a world filled with imagination, art, stories and playful creativity.
Puppets, artistic objects, ingenious mechanisms, moving contraptions, magical scenery, theatre props, painted artworks, a carousel and forgotten treasures brought back to life. Together, they create the extraordinary universe of IMAGINARIUM, where nothing is ordinary, predictable or conventional.
This large-scale installation, housed inside a unique mobile hall, celebrates creativity, imagination, craftsmanship and artistic mastery. It tells the story of the creators who together build the magical world of the Forman Brothers Theatre. This is not a place where you simply observe from a distance. Here, visitors are encouraged to explore, interact, play and wonder.
The programme also includes weekend creative workshops led by IMAGINARIUM artists, taking place every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00, free of charge for exhibition visitors.
Selected June weekends will also feature accompanying theatre performances:
• Divadlo Minor – Long, Wide and Sharp-Sighted (June 6, 13 and 14)
• Geisslers Hoffcomoedianten – Rusty Anna (June 21)
A special family bonus: admission to the theatre performances also includes free entry to the IMAGINARIUM exhibition immediately after the show.
The exhibition takes place as part of Festival ARENA 2026.
